Greetings Everyone!!

Updated: Oct 26, 2020

I am your photographer, Jessica Spencer. I decided to try blogging about Mc Awesome Photography. I am new to blogging, so bear with me. ^_^.

Mostly, I wanted to share with all of my followers everything that is going on. Whether it is new discounts or specials, recent photo sessions, tips and tricks, or just life itself. My goal is to post one blog a week.

Please let me know if there is anything you would love for me to talk about.

For this first blog, I wanted to give a small intro about Mc Awesome Photography and myself. Many of you already know who I am. However, for those who don't, I just wanted to share a little bit about myself.

I am Jessica, the photographer of Mc Awesome Photography. I have been a photographer for 10 years now. After high school, I went to Nossi College of Arts. There I earned my Bachelors Degree in Digital Photography and Commercial Videography.

While in college, I started Mc Awesome Photography. Creating photographs for people is something I really enjoy doing. I wanted to be able to photograph memories for people. Growing up, my family was very big on taking photos of everything. My grandfather loves to look at a photo and tell us what was going on during that time. He is a big storyteller. I love listening to his stories of back in the day. He doesn't have very many photos of his past. This is part of my inspiration for being a photographer. I want to make sure people are able to have photos to help them remember their past.

This may sound corny to some people, but this is how I truly feel. I have seen and heard of many people who do not have photos to look back on. With technology today, it is getting easier to have those photos. However, we are now starting to see the person behind the camera not getting in the shot. I, myself, have ran into this problem with my own family. I have to remember to grab the tripod or someone else to have myself included. If I am having this problem, I know other people are.

Because of this, I want to be the one who can take the camera and make sure everyone is included. Whether it be Mom, Dad, Grandma, or Uncle Steve. This is why I do what I do. This is why I am not just a wife or a mother. This is why I am a photographer.

If you have read this far, thank you. Please let me know in the comments how my first blog was. Comment if there is anything you would like me to talk about. Share with your friends and family. Make sure to like and share Mc Awesome Photography on Facebook and Instagram. For everyone who read this first blog, I am giving you $25 off your next session. When booking, tell me the secret code "Memories".

Hope you all enjoyed.

With Love,

Jessica
